Pedro Urbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Abeitia in the 11th minute of the match. Prospero Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Urbes having to interfere. Pedro Urbes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Abeitia in the 16th minute of play. Benito Berenguer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Obeko firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 24th match minute, 5 de Octubre de 2008 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Abeitia to make the kick off. Pedro Urbes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inocencio Fagildo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Federico Froila lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of 5 de Octubre de 2008 booed when CA Mancardos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Gauargi fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 61st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Armando Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Gaspar Tavio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Obeko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, 5 de Octubre de 2008's Pedro Urbes got control of the ball when Prospero Abeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustacio Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerardo Uhin's late challenge caught a CA Mancardos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Uhin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Gerardo Uhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Prospero Abeitia could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Pedro Urbes however easily saved by the left post. CA Mancardos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
