Cornelio Gines charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Gines the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pearson FC booed when rocarosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Fabricio Primeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rocarosa's Zeledon Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Pearson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Arias came free, but Valentin Ostadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Gonzalez got free with Zeledon Machado in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Machado having to interfere. Fabricio Primeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Gonzalez struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zeledon Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pearson FC. A collision led to rocarosa getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Melquiades Lauro hit a great ball. Valentin Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Arias in the 29th minute of play. The Pearson FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Pearson FC's Guido Gonzalez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonatan Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Primeiro made a kick off. Basilio Blasco hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Fabricio Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zeledon Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Primeiro in the 54th minute of play forced rocarosa's goalkeeper Zeledon Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romulo Jurgi fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored rocarosa's protests and gave Romulo Jurgi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Romulo Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pearson FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after rocarosa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Braulio Viator took the corner. Braulio Viator made a great header on Pearson FC's corner, it was just that rocarosa's Zeledon Machado managed to reach the ball for a save. Pearson FC's Valentin Ostadar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Pearson FC from getting a goal against them. Guido Gonzalez took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Machado. Zeledon Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 75 minutes into the game, Guido Gonzalez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Zeledon Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Fabricio Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Zeledon Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cipriano Mouricio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentin Ostadar. That made the score 5-1 in the 90 minute of play. Raimundo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
