The crowd rose to their feet as Martínez's Javier Tadzio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Efrain Francho. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Daniel Bizi scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Ostargi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, one of Barrancas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barrancas. The goalkeeper, Efrain Francho, was totally fooled by Martínez's Javier Tadzio, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Efrain Francho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Tadzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Daniel Bizi took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Ostargi. Ivan Ostargi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Corderall in the 35th minute of play forced Martínez's goalkeeper Ivan Ostargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Corderall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ivan Ostargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Ostargi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Corderall went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When Daniel Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Barrancas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Bizi couldn't finish the play. Silvio Francesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Ostargi having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Barrancas's Daniel Bizi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Ostargi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Tadzio was the one to do the kick off. Artemio Corderall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ivan Ostargi made a huge save. Ivan Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Corderall in the 53rd minute of the match. Martínez's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Anier Ospin scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Ostargi, making the score, 4-7. Maximino Nikola hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Martínez's Ivan Ostargi got control of the ball when Artemio Corderall tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Martínez booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Tadzio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ivan Ostargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Corderall in the 93rd minute of the match. Martínez's Ivan Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bizi in the 94th minute of play. Baltasar Abilio charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Abilio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Martínez getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Baltasar Abilio hit a great ball. When the match was over Barrancas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Martínez throughout the match.
