Spectators: 6404 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leandro Su made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Golden Generation's Cosme Salvatore got control of the ball when Romeo Xabel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Tamangueyú defense, Freddy Peruanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Gonza. The Tamangueyú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Gonza should have stopped the shot. Cosme Salvatore made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Romeo Xabel sent off a good shot on target. Rigoberto Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, one of Golden Generation:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Generation. Cosme Salvatore went to the wrong direction when Romeo Xabel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Generation's zone, Romeo Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Salvatore came out of the goal and Romeo Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Romeo Xabel came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Tamangueyú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Xabel couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes of play, Golden Generation's Leandro Su made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Gonza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosme Salvatore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Primitivo Chico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 38 minute of play. After 45 played minutes Romeo Xabel rounded Golden Generation's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Xabel made a kick off. Romeo Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cosme Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Generation's zone, Primitivo Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Salvatore came out of the goal and Primitivo Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Golden Generation's Cosme Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Xabel in the 56th minute of play. If Isidoro Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Primitivo Chico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Salvatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Cosme Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Iztal in the 69th minute of the match. Danilo Elivareo made in the 72nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Marko immediately put the ball in play. When Leandro Su fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Golden Generation's protests and gave Leandro Su a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Golden Generation getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leandro Su hit a great ball. Romeo Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Romeo Xabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Elivareo made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Marko. Dante Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Hernando, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Generation's goalkeeper Cosme Salvatore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Xabel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Cosme Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamangueyú. Tamangueyú's Dante Gonza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Tamangueyú from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tamangueyú fans cheered their team off the field, for while Golden Generation had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
