After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gregorio Chorache managed to get in a good position for a shot. peladogourmet's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Chorache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Theodore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Unax to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Theodore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Chorache, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of peladogourmet booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Theodore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Aragones in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Chorache was the one to do the kick off.
