Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5445, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Genaro Silvanito kicked off to start the match. Samuel Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Theodore having to make a save. 15 minutes into the game, Gualterio Palben was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xeneixes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saladillo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Xeneixes's Ovidio Maria got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Genaro Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When Rigoberto Ekaitz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xeneixes's protests and gave Rigoberto Ekaitz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Xeneixes getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rigoberto Ekaitz hit a great ball. Samuel Vidal took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Theodore. Nestor Theodore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 64th minute Samuel Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xeneixes's Jorge Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Silvanito in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Rigoberto Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Argoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jorge Toribio made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Joey during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Xeneixes booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Theodore having to interfere.
