Lonquimay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Lonquimay's Victor Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Galoer in the 76th minute of play. Epifanio Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes MC RODO got a freekick which was hit by Christian Haritzeder. If Epifanio Javiero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Edgardo Cristos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Koldo. Edgardo Cristos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded MC RODO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lonquimay.
