Americo Ugaitz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Fabricio Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Barrialito booed when Guillermina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Cesaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Americo Ugaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Albino Elodio made a huge save. Aaron Gaizkine hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Albino Elodio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Ugaitz in the 21st minute. Albino Elodio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Bikendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guillermina AFC's goalkeeper Albino Elodio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 minutes of play, Barrialito's Genaro Bikendi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Elodio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Guillermina AFC's Teo Naelio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Guillermina AFC's Albino Elodio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Guillermina AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Genaro Bikendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Jago to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Guillermina AFC's Fabricio Jago ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santo Amato. Santo Amato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Guillermina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Ugaitz came free, but Albino Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Ugaitz in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Elodio saved Guillermina AFC from getting behind. Abelardo Argenis charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Argenis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Abelardo Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Ugaitz in the 72nd minute of play forced Guillermina AFC's goalkeeper Albino Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Barrialito's Americo Ugaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Henric's late challenge caught a Guillermina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Henric helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Henric hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Guillermina AFC's Domingo Cesaro in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ubaldo Sanson's late challenge caught a Guillermina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Sanson helped the player get up and apologised. Barrialito's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
