The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dionisio Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Paul in the 3rd minute of play. Faustino Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dionisio Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Paul took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Muc. Dionisio Muc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dionisio Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Baleren in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Efrain Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Adan Unax sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iker Elazar skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Hornεro αlphα's Efrain Herrera got a free kick in the 16th minute. Serafino Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Elazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Hornεro αlphα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Pudes to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Oskarbi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Faustino Baleren scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Muc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Tadeo Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dionisio Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Faustino Baleren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Muc was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Baleren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samaniego FC's Candido Ermengol got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Serafino Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samaniego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Xacintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Elazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Samaniego FC's zone, Faustino Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Muc came out of the goal and Faustino Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Arsenio Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samaniego FC's protests and gave Arsenio Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. Arsenio Dominic hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, Alfredo Idacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hornεro αlphα's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samaniego FC the free kick. The supporters of Samaniego FC booed when Hornεro αlphα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Idacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Elazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ermengol in the 93rd minute of play. Hornεro αlphα were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Samaniego FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domingo Pudes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hornεro αlphα's corner Domingo Pudes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dionisio Muc quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hornεro αlphα eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
