In the 15th minute of the match Cesar Lopez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Jurgi skillfully saved the ball. Angelo Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Denis Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Romero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Denis Transito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd play minute Ezequiel Romero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Denis Transito. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Romero got free with Denis Transito in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Jurgi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Duardo in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Cerilo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Jurgi saved Sangre Granate F.C. from getting behind. If Ezequiel Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Jacindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Denis Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Jacindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Romero in the 58th minute of play forced Aranguren AFC's goalkeeper Denis Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
