Aranguren AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Duardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Duardo in the 23rd minute of play forced Castilla AFC's goalkeeper Froilan Elija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aranguren AFC's Denis Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Muc in the 25th minute of play. Froilan Elija showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Duardo in the 33rd minute of the match. Aranguren AFC's Paolo Cerilo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Aranguren AFC booed when Castilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Duardo in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Froilan Elija, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Timoteo Muc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Duardo made a kick off. Paolo Cerilo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Froilan Elija having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Victorino Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Aranguren AFC's Hugo Duardo got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Castilla AFC's zone, Hugo Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Froilan Elija came out of the goal and Hugo Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Victorino Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Froilan Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Duardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Aranguren AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Muc came free, but Denis Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Llanos struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Denis Transito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castilla AFC. Timoteo Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Denis Transito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Elija made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Cerilo in the 90th minute of play. Froilan Elija stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Cerilo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Paolo Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
