Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Rodas in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Celio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Everardo Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Everardo Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE BROTHERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Belmiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fabian Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Hector Libertad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE BROTHERS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mechita the free kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ivan Beltza came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by THE BROTHERS's Iker Raebert. But to his dismay, Iker Raebert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Americo Roldan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Pedro Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Celio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. THE BROTHERS's Hector Libertad got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Hector Libertad off the ground. The THE BROTHERS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mechita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
