The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Celino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Jairo Mancio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Juventus's Esteban Celino. Esteban Celino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jairo Mancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Reyes came free, but Esteban Celino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Maidana having to interfere. Bulnes's Modesto Reyes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bulnes's zone, Mauricio Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Maidana came out of the goal and Mauricio Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute Justino Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juventus's Esteban Celino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Reyes in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Mancio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Justino Ermano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Maidana. Christian Maidana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mauricio Chus struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Christian Maidana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus. In the 56th minute Mauricio Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Ermano in the 57th minute of the match. Juventus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Justino Ermano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Juventus's Mauricio Chus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Maidana narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
