After a defensive mix-up in Arrocera FC's zone, Rosendo Garaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Pereyra came out of the goal and Rosendo Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Arrocera FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Arrocera FC's Anacleto Abilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serafin Pereyra was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Raul Beltza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raul Beltza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Arrocera FC's Serafin Pereyra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Medina in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Rosendo Garaona could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Serafin Pereyra however easily saved by the left post. When Anacleto Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Arrocera FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Abilio couldn't finish the play. Serafin Pereyra was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Saturnino Oskitz. In the 34th minute Gerardo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Gudesteo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Abilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Sustrai was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The supporters of Ballesteros AFC booed when Arrocera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Anacleto Abilio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Anacleto Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrocera FC were furious when Ruben Fiz was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Serafin Pereyra went to the wrong direction when Filomeno Txordon was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Arrocera FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Guido Milian hit a great ball. Serafin Pereyra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Medina's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Vicente Domiku received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teofilo Sustrai came out and tried to block the shot, but Vicente Domiku slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 70th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Milian during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gerardo Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballesteros AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Pereyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Serafin Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
