Jonas Macerio charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Macerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonas Macerio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ladislao Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Jerano having to interfere. When Ladislao Guzman came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Numancia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Guzman couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Ladislao Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Jerano. Callate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 45thth minute of the game Ladislao Guzman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callate's Nemesio Jerano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leandro Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Macerio in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Macerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ladislao Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Numancia's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Guzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Jerano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leandro Sein was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Bertol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 54 minute of play. Evaristo Abadie's late challenge caught a Numancia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Abadie helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Callate getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Evaristo Abadie hit a great ball. Leandro Sein made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mateo Bertol sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Ladislao Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Jerano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Ladislao Guzman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 76thth minute of the game Ladislao Guzman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callate's Nemesio Jerano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nemesio Jerano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Guzman went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Julian Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Ladislao Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Jerano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ladislao Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Ladislao Guzman made a precise shot to the right of Nemesio Jerano. Callate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. There was no doubt that Numancia were the better team. Numancia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
