Spectators: 6920 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmelo Quintin started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Cachilo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Gutierrez came free, but Aristides Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Dubardo during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute of the match Carmelo Santo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Franco skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Florencio Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachilo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charras's Desiderio Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Desiderio Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Victor Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachilo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charras the free kick. After 22 played minutes Cachilo FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Tibalt. Desiderio Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Carmelo Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Humberto Cheche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachilo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Cheche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Cheche struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Haroldo Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachilo FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Cheche to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Aires during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Charras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cachilo FC:s goal. The referee gave Cachilo FC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carmelo Santo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Charras's Haroldo Franco. 1-1. Carmelo Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Carmelo Quintin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charras's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Quintin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Garaona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Gutierrez in the 74th minute. Carmelo Quintin's late challenge caught a Cachilo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Quintin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Charras's Carmelo Quintin got a free kick in the 75th minute. Haroldo Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Cheche, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Humberto Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Franco came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cachilo FC's Humberto Cheche. But to his dismay, Humberto Cheche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 95th minute Humberto Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Florencio Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachilo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cachilo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
