After 2 played minutes Azara got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Bilintx. 3 minutes into the match, Erubiel Frantzes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Azara's Ubaldo Seber. Ubaldo Seber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sixto Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carmelo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Mundo in the 11th minute of play forced Azara's goalkeeper Ubaldo Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Carmelo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Benjamesis FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Mendez. If Efrain Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segundo Orain hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Edgardo Raymond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azara and the Benjamesis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Azara! The goalkeeper, Ubaldo Seber, was totally fooled by Benjamesis FC's Arnulfo Jax, who 32 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sixto Casado took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Janpier. Carmelo Janpier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Carmelo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sixto Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Janpier having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sixto Casado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Janpier having to interfere. Carmelo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Efrain Selmo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Efrain Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Janpier having to interfere. Ramiro Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ubaldo Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramiro Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Ramiro Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Benjamesis FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Efrain Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Carmelo Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Cordarrell hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Erubiel Frantzes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Mundo in the 97th minute of play forced Azara's goalkeeper Ubaldo Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Benjamesis FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Azara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
