The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Benjamesis FC booed when Rusticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rusticos FC's Apolo Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Janpier having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Cleto Uhin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benjamesis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rusticos FC the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Benjamesis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Uhin to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Carmelo Janpier managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Rusticos FC's Apolo Crispo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anselmo Iratze charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Iratze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Anselmo Iratze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Cleto Uhin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Benjamesis FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Benigno Lluc scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Janpier, making the score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Bartuelo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Bartuelo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apolo Crispo struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Carmelo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rusticos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Lluc in the 68th minute of play forced Benjamesis FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Apolo Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rusticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benigno Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Crispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Erubiel Frantzes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Eder was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ramiro Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aldo Eder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Benigno Lluc notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Benjamesis FC's Carmelo Janpier. Carmelo Janpier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 91 minutes into the match, Benjamesis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Crispo came free, but Carmelo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Rusticos FC were the better team. Rusticos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
