Patricio Rey F.C's Isaac Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Jordy in the 11th minute of play. Portalis FC's Nicasio Jordy got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Tauro in the 23rd minute of the match. Ambrosio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Nafarroa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Espiridion during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Portalis FC booed when Patricio Rey F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Espiridion didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Patricio Rey F.C's zone, Ambrosio Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Nafarroa came out of the goal and Ambrosio Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Portalis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Ibar came free, but Bartolo Ermengol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Jordy struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Isaac Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portalis FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Claris got free with Isaac Nafarroa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ambrosio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Nafarroa having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Jordy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Nafarroa was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Timoteo Claris came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Portalis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Claris couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Portalis FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
