Gustavo Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ricardo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Mλpuכhes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Inguma to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Ofelio in the 8th minute of play. Jimeno Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maximino Cordaryal came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Guerrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Cordaryal couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Ofelio in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mλpuכhes FC's Rodrigo Arnau threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimeno Tavio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 26th minute, Ivan Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Danel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Feo got free with Rodrigo Arnau in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Guerrero's zone, Jimeno Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Arnau came out of the goal and Jimeno Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximino Cordaryal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Feo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Rodrigo Arnau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mλpuכhes FC. Jimeno Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Llorienzo's late challenge caught a Guerrero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artemio Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. Artemio Llorienzo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Tavio was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Arnau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Feo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Guerrero's Rodrigo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Tavio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Baraquiel's late challenge caught a Mλpuכhes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Baraquiel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Guerrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. Mλpuכhes FC's Julio Feo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jimeno Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guerrero getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Genaro Javiar hit a great ball. If Julio Feo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guerrero's Rodrigo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Tavio in the 93rd minute of play. Ricardo Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guerrero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mλpuכhes FC.
