Leandro Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Bazkoare in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Taquelman's zone, Adolfo Larra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Paublo came out of the goal and Adolfo Larra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Abeita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Venancio Paublo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Adolfo Larra hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute Mario Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Txurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Abeita scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Paublo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 played minutes La Cumbancha Volante got a freekick which was hit by Astor Lawrence. Freddy Abeita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Paublo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Larra in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Paublo saved Club Atletico Taquelman from getting behind. With his leg Venancio Paublo managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when La Cumbancha Volante's Adolfo Larra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Larra to make the kick off. Leandro Txurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Eudoxio in the 56th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Taquelman getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Candido Saturnin hit a great ball. Leandro Txurio made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mario Eudoxio sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Breogan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Astor Lawrence's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Taquelman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Astor Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes, Adrian Ciceron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Taquelman and the La Cumbancha Volante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Club Atletico Taquelman got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Ciceron. Leandro Txurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Bazkoare in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Fidel Ignazio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Lawrence was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes La Cumbancha Volante got a freekick which was hit by Astor Lawrence. In the 97th minute of the match Amador Gaur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Txurio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. La Cumbancha Volante's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
