Denis Bittor was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Cebollar's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Sanduru came free, but Denis Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Constantino Sanduru notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cebollar's Denis Bittor. Denis Bittor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cebollar booed when velez sarsfield f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alonzo Umea made the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Ruisko struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cornelio Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cebollar. Alonzo Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Mitxel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Bittor having to make a save. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cebollar's goalkeeper Denis Bittor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The velez sarsfield f.c. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
