Esteve Nalo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Enaut. 0-1. Edelmiro Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joaquin Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Procopio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Lucio Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Orlin lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of Transporte Legui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Esteve Nalo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 36th minute Placido Argenis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Omero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blas Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Omero having to interfere. Jonathan Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Omero having to interfere. Transporte Legui's Placido Argenis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play, Benevento Calcio's Lucio Ongile made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Enaut was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edelmiro Oriol to make the kick off. Placido Argenis scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Omero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Luis Basajaun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Benevento Calcio booed when Transporte Legui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Nalo got free with Romulo Enaut in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Transporte Legui getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jonathan Cesario hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Placido Argenis sped through Benevento Calcio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Omero. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
