Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erubiel Gergori got the match started through his kick off. Eloy Saturnin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Victorio Gaitan. Victor Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Iraunkor in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Cosenza Calcio 1914 booed when Joyango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Cosenza Calcio 1914's goalkeeper Eloy Saturnin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Ferman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Gergori in the 25th minute of play forced Joyango's goalkeeper Victor Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Gergori went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eloy Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Ferman in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Erubiel Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Joyango's Isaias Salomone ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eloy Saturnin. Eloy Saturnin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Cosenza Calcio 1914's Tomas Iraunkor got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Salomone to make the kick off. Cosenza Calcio 1914's Eloy Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Salomone in the 54th minute of play. Joyango's Arturo Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Arturo Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joyango's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eloy Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Joyango's zone, Tomas Iraunkor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Firme came out of the goal and Tomas Iraunkor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Erubiel Gergori came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cosenza Calcio 1914 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Gergori couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cosenza Calcio 1914 booed when Joyango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ferman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eloy Saturnin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Salomone went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Erubiel Gergori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Erubiel Gergori kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Firme. That made the score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. After 97 played minutes Cosenza Calcio 1914 got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Tancredo.
