Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filomeno Txatxu got the match started through his kick off. Ildefonso Sandaili struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquin Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pitufos FC. The supporters of Los Pitufos FC booed when Benevento Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Txatxu in the 8th minute of the match. Joaquin Omero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Soin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Benevento Calcio's zone, Ildefonso Sandaili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Omero came out of the goal and Ildefonso Sandaili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Arturo Nastasio came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Benevento Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Nastasio couldn't finish the play. After 16 played minutes Benevento Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Ezkerra. Cleto Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Joaquin Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los Pitufos FC defense, Filomeno Txatxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Hermon. The Los Pitufos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Hermon should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Filomeno Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Los Pitufos FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Tiniebra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Nalo in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Pitufos FC's goalkeeper Camilo Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Soin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Omero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bruno Tiniebra hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ildefonso Sandaili took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Omero. Joaquin Omero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Ildefonso Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Sandaili was the one to do the kick off. When Venancio Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Los Pitufos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Dabi couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Cleto Soin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Pitufos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Joaquin Omero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Sandaili in the 70th minute of play. Benevento Calcio's Maximiliano Ezkerra got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Maximiliano Ezkerra off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Maximiliano Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Benevento Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Sandaili came free, but Joaquin Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Urtzi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Sandaili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Omero was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Victoriano Lluis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Venancio Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Pitufos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Sandaili notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Benevento Calcio's Joaquin Omero. Joaquin Omero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Los Pitufos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
