Dalmacio Constancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmacio Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Reyes in the 18th minute of play. Classic's Domingo Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Classic from getting a goal against them. Rafael Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Ponc having to interfere. Maximiliano Timo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Domingo Ponc made a huge save. Club Villa Mitre's Rafael Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Club Villa Mitre's Rafael Orixe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Ponc. Domingo Ponc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Hector Reyes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Constancio having to interfere. Nicolas Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Orixe to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Damaso Loi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Vermudo got free with Dalmacio Constancio in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jimeno Florian fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Villa Mitre's protests and gave Jimeno Florian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jimeno Florian hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Reyes in the 91st minute of play forced Club Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Dalmacio Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Feo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Hector Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Classic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Reyes couldn't finish the play.
