Raimundo Aznar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Domingo Ponc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Classic's Bernabe Cresenciano got a free kick in the 4th minute. Domingo Ponc made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Fermin Arias sent off a good shot on target. Domingo Ponc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Aznar in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Deportivo sarmiento fc's Fermin Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Ponc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Aznar in the 12th minute of play forced Classic's goalkeeper Domingo Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Aznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Classic's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Aznar came free, but Domingo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo sarmiento fc's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Kauldi came free, but Faustino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Fermin Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo sarmiento fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 38th minute, Deportivo sarmiento fc's Enzo Honrio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Domingo Ponc. Domingo Ponc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Classic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Raimundo Aznar scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Ponc, making the score, 4-0.
After having played for 55 minutes, Fermin Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo sarmiento fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inocencio Cresenciano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Hector Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Classic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Reyes couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Fermin Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo sarmiento fc's Faustino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Cresenciano in the 71st minute of play. Fermin Arias took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Ponc. Domingo Ponc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arias in the 76th minute of play forced Classic's goalkeeper Domingo Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Domingo Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Aznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Ponc having to interfere. Domingo Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Aznar in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Fermin Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo sarmiento fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Ponc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Arias might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Ponc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Arias ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Fermin Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo sarmiento fc's Inocencio Cresenciano got a free kick in the 97th minute.
