Dalmacio Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rafael Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Herminio Ixaka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Amador Orzaize ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Constancio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Constantino Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Constancio having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Club Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Florian to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Fermin Feo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Villa Mitre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liniers the free kick. Liniers's Leopoldo Gaitano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Villa Mitre. Dalmacio Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Benitez in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rafael Orixe made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Maximiliano Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Benitez scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmacio Constancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 played minutes Club Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Ederono. With a little luck, Club Villa Mitre's Dalmacio Constancio got control of the ball when Constantino Benitez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Orixe in the 80th minute of play forced Liniers's goalkeeper Basilio Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th match minute, Club Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Feo to maneuver through the defense. Amador Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Timo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Basilio Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Villa Mitre. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle.
