Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafael Orixe got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 6 in the game by Constantino Benitez from a close distance when the talented Dalmacio Constancio managed to make a qualified save. Club Villa Mitre's players were relieved. Dalmacio Constancio made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Constantino Benitez sent off a good shot on target. After 15th play minutes Rafael Orixe shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Basilio Abechuco and just under the crossbar into goal. Basilio Abechuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Orixe in the 19th minute of play. Maximiliano Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Basilio Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Marcones charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmiro Marcones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Delmiro Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Orzaize in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Constancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Benitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Dalmacio Constancio made a huge save. If Amador Orzaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Amador Orzaize managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liniers's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Orzaize was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Constancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Liniers's Amador Orzaize in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Villa Mitre's goalie prevented a goal. Constantino Benitez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Club Villa Mitre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Club Villa Mitre getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Fermin Feo hit a great ball. If Rafael Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes of play Liniers's Delmiro Marcones was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 87th match minute, Liniers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Marcones to maneuver through the defense. When Rafael Orixe came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Club Villa Mitre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Orixe couldn't finish the play.
