Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cayetano Gabirel got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Braulio Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braulio Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Erubiel Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Banda FC's Teo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Braulio Shantala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Erubiel Rios made a huge save. Bernabe Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Braulio Shantala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erubiel Rios firmly grabbed it by the left post. LA CUMBANCHA FC's Braulio Shantala came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Erubiel Rios had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 24 minutes, Mauro Hermon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA CUMBANCHA FC and the La Banda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mauro Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jaime Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Gabirel in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute La Banda FC were awarded a corner. Severo Sagrario went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 36th minute, Jesus Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Hartz in the 41st minute of play forced La Banda FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Gerardo Sanchez in the 45th minute really tested Erubiel Rios's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Victor Domingues's late challenge caught a LA CUMBANCHA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Banda FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Victor Domingues hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as LA CUMBANCHA FC's Bernabe Hartz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erubiel Rios. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Hartz to make the kick off. Sebastian Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Bernabe Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Gabirel in the 63rd minute of play. Jaime Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Gabirel's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Teo Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Ignado having to interfere. A collision led to LA CUMBANCHA FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sebastian Eguzki hit a great ball. Teo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Lazcano got free with Jaime Ignado in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cayetano Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jesus Serafo hit a great ball. In the 87th minute Bernabe Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Shantala might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erubiel Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Shantala ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Hartz in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Rios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Ignado came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by La Banda FC's Cayetano Gabirel. But to his dismay, Cayetano Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
