Albino Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Bernabe Carlomagno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Círculo Tolosano's Hernan Jayvier got a free kick in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Lázaro Oidor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Albino Cristofol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 48 minutes into the match, Leones Cristianos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Abaunza came free, but Federico Arnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Olivar made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Leones Cristianos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Atarrabi to maneuver through the defense. When Gustavo Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones Cristianos F.C.'s protests and gave Gustavo Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Círculo Tolosano's Danilo Tome tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Dalmacio Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Círculo Tolosano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Abaunza couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Círculo Tolosano's Hernan Jayvier got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Cristian Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leones Cristianos F.C.'s Cristian Olivar got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Olivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Olivar struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Albino Cristofol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones Cristianos F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Oidor in the 91st minute of play forced Círculo Tolosano's goalkeeper Albino Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Círculo Tolosano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Leones Cristianos F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
