In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Papa Roach's goalkeeper Fulgencio Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Teo Felipo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Arias. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Gaudencio Garin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Foos FC's Gregorio Gutierrez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Aristides Etxahun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papa Roach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Foos FC the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Papa Roach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. Foos FC were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Papa Roach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Naike took the corner. Fulgencio Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Foos FC booed when Papa Roach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Rogelio Jaunzuria took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nestor Ramalho to make any attempt to save it. Fulgencio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Felipo in the 64th minute of play. Foos FC's Nestor Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Jaunzuria in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Felix Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Emanuel Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Papa Roach's Severo Venceslas tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Foos FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Papa Roach had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
