But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Sayvion couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tinto y Soda's Severiano Abella got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Aaron Paio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Ferdinand in the 85th minute of play forced Sp. Canario's goalkeeper Flavio Isauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Isauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Ferdinand's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Santos Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Isauro having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Sp. Canario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Sidro to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Isauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Mondragón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Mondragón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Isauro having to interfere. Tinto y Soda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sp. Canario for a fine match.
