Marcelino Maiorga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Flavio Isauro made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Silvestre Sidro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sp. Canario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave el Tacho S.F.V.L.Y.S the free kick. After 45 played minutes Sp. Canario got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Sidro.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Funes Mori was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sp. Canario's Valentin Bernad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelino Cambranes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Marcelino Maiorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Isauro. Sp. Canario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angel Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Isauro having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sp. Canario players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for el Tacho S.F.V.L.Y.S.
