After 7 minutes of play, Tinto y Soda's Santos Ferdinand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Moise was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustin Fraco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Lugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tinto y Soda's zone, Agustin Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Lugo came out of the goal and Agustin Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Illan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Lugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Tinto y Soda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Ulises Moise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Rencio took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Moise. Ulises Moise dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Ferdinand in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Moise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Huracan's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Mondragón came free, but Ulises Moise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Bilbo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Santos Ferdinand made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Damian Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Galindo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Galindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejandro Bilbo hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62 played minutes Club Atletico Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Tipi. Julian Errando's late challenge caught a Tinto y Soda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Errando helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Mondragón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ulises Moise made a huge save. After 73 played minutes Club Atletico Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Tipi. Ulises Moise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Club Atletico Huracan's Ulises Moise got control of the ball when Camilo Mondragón tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Atletico Huracan's Ulises Moise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Huracan from getting a goal against them.
