Constantino Tximitx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinto y Soda. Constantino Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Santos Ferdinand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Camilo Mondragón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Tinto y Soda getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Santos Ferdinand hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Wilfredo Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Rencio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Constantino Tximitx made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Camilo Mondragón sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eleuterio Ishmael sped through Tinto y Soda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Lugo. Elpidio Lugo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Ishmael's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Tinto y Soda's Elpidio Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Ishmael in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Eleuterio Ishmael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Tinto y Soda's Paulino Rencio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Elpidio Lugo came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by ITALIANO's Wilfredo Maule. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Maule quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eleuterio Ishmael made the kick off in the second half. ITALIANO's Lucas Espiridion pulled a muscle in his back after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 54 minutes, Severiano Abella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tinto y Soda and the ITALIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Tinto y Soda got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Abella. Constantino Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Rencio in the 61st minute of play. Eleuterio Ishmael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Elpidio Lugo made a huge save. During the 71st minute of the match Severiano Abella completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severiano Abella a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tinto y Soda's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Wilfredo Maule scored to the left of an out of position Elpidio Lugo, making the score, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Ishmael got free with Elpidio Lugo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Maule's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Lugo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, Tinto y Soda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Rencio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Eleuterio Ishmael could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Elpidio Lugo however easily saved by the left post. Tinto y Soda's Elpidio Lugo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Tinto y Soda from getting a goal against them. If Wilfredo Maule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Ishmael was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Tinto y Soda fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ITALIANO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
