The referee showed Diego Ekhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Ekhi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Orkatz in the 33rd minute of play forced Chorrillos FC's goalkeeper Evaristo Baraquiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chorrillos FC's Roque Emeterio got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Cristos was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Baraquiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Roque Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Emeterio in the 59th minute of play. Chorrillos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Bernardino Cristos scored to the left of an out of position Evaristo Baraquiel, making the score, 1-1. In the 86th minute, Justino Orkatz made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Baraquiel. Chorrillos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Evaristo Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Cristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Chorrillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Oihan. The Drysdale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
