When Maximiliano Dacio came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the El Deportivo Boca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Dacio couldn't finish the play. Benito Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Mauro Hermelando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Shepherd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Demario having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Primitivo Toli to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in El Deportivo Boca FC's zone, Mauro Hermelando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Demario came out of the goal and Mauro Hermelando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Genaro Nardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La pelota no se mancha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Deportivo Boca FC the free kick. Genaro Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La pelota no se mancha FC! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for El Deportivo Boca FC. Lino Ariando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Urbano Benet. 0-2. Fabio Shepherd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Primitivo Toli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes El Deportivo Boca FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Montez. After 76 minutes of play, La pelota no se mancha FC's Fabio Shepherd made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Fabio Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Demario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Toli in the 87th minute of the match. Jairo Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Shepherd's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, El Deportivo Boca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Shepherd came free, but Jairo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Fabio Shepherd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Fabio Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
