Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcos Cuarto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sergio Etxeberri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anastasio Abancens firmly grabbed it by the left post. Malleo FC's Denis Abaunza pulled a muscle in his leg after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 4 minutes into the game, Felix Vincent was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lértora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malleo FC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Lértora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Anastasio Abancens made a huge save. Felix Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lértora's Felix Vincent got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Felix Vincent off the ground. In the 14th minute, Felix Vincent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Malleo FC's Vladimiro Orlanda tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sergio Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lértora booed when Malleo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Patrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Anastasio Abancens made a huge save. Sergio Etxeberris short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Anastasio Abancens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Manuelo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emiliano Manuelo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Vladimiro Orlanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Cuarto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Anastasio Abancens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Anastasio Abancens managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Malleo FC's Marcos Cuarto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 36 minutes, Emiliano Manuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lértora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Manuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sergio Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aristides Selmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Jesco made a kick off. Sergio Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Abancens having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Malleo FC's zone, Sergio Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Selmo came out of the goal and Sergio Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sergio Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Cuarto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anastasio Abancens having to make a save. Anastasio Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Augusto Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Selmo having to interfere. Sergio Etxeberri struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Anastasio Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malleo FC. Lértora's attentive Bartolo Maura managed to snatch the ball when Saverio Romildo made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. When Malleo FC's Sergio Etxeberri in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lértora's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 minutes, Aaron Muno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malleo FC and the Lértora players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Muno hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Sergio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aristides Selmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Sergio Jesco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristides Selmo. Sergio Jesco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Cuarto in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Abancens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Selmo having to interfere. The Lértora supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lértora would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
