Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcos Cuarto got the match started through his kick off. Benicio Cortez hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Sergio Etxeberri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aldo Laffitte firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Sergio Etxeberri got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aldo Laffitte was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Totoral's Arnaldo Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Malleo FC's Marcos Cuarto in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Totoral's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Laffitte having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Benito Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malleo FC's Aristides Selmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergio Etxeberri in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aldo Laffitte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Oriche to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute Sergio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Laffitte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malleo FC! The goalkeeper, Aristides Selmo, was totally fooled by Totoral's Eustacio Quirze, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sergio Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Malleo FC's zone, Benito Oriche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Selmo came out of the goal and Benito Oriche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Cuarto in the 85th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Totoral eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
