Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabio Shepherd took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sergio Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Hermelando in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Selmo saved Malleo FC from getting behind. Aristides Selmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Hermelando's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Urbano Benet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Etxeberri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Americo Nardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malleo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La pelota no se mancha FC the free kick. Mauro Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La pelota no se mancha FC's zone, Sergio Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Benet came out of the goal and Sergio Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La pelota no se mancha FC's Fabio Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mauro Hermelando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Selmo was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Fabio Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Abaunza in the 45th minute of play forced La pelota no se mancha FC's goalkeeper Urbano Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Nardo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Urbano Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malleo FC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Etxeberri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Malleo FC's goalkeeper Aristides Selmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Fabio Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 played minutes Malleo FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Patrido. Aristides Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Shepherd in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Malleo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Shepherd came free, but Aristides Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Selmo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mauro Hermelando sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Nardo in the 68th minute of play forced La pelota no se mancha FC's goalkeeper Urbano Benet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes La pelota no se mancha FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Porfiro. Urbano Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Nardo in the 75th minute of the match. When Fabio Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the La pelota no se mancha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Shepherd couldn't finish the play. La pelota no se mancha FC's Mauro Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th play minute Mauro Hermelando came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aristides Selmo. 1-2. A collision led to La pelota no se mancha FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Genaro Eutor hit a great ball. After 88 minutes, Sergio Etxeberri made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. La pelota no se mancha FC's Urbano Benet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
