Rafael Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Teobaldo Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CHAPITA's Raimundo Rafe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rafael Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Amancio Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ripiculti de La Plata's goalkeeper Ákos Csontos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Rio took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Rafe. Raimundo Rafe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Urtsin in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raimundo Rafe saved CHAPITA from getting behind. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Urtsin to make the kick off.
