After having played for 7 minutes, Alvaro Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redonditos de Riquelme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Karlo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gatorei's Dario Karlo got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Gatorei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Redonditos de Riquelme's Andres Estevez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victorio Niva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redonditos de Riquelme reached it. Fernando Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Victorio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. The Redonditos de Riquelme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Matro should have stopped the shot. If Anier Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anier Ioritz was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gatorei's zone, Fernando Eder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Niva came out of the goal and Fernando Eder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gatorei's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Hegoi came free, but Victorio Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Victorio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Niva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redonditos de Riquelme. Gilberto Matro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Gatorei's Anier Ioritz. But to his dismay, Anier Ioritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lorenzo Pierres struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gilberto Matro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatorei. Fernando Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Victorio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Eder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Alvaro Hegoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victorio Niva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Alvaro Hegoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gatorei's Victorio Niva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Kinsen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Kinsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute Redonditos de Riquelme were awarded a corner. Andres Estevez went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ladislao Beltran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victorio Niva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Redonditos de Riquelme players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gatorei.
