With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Harkaitz in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Macario saved canarios AFC from getting behind. Damian Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Alvarez in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Tadeo Guillelmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Vachon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. canarios AFC's Roberto Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Nuxila in the 21st minute of play. If Emilio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Celipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Vachon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Los Gurisee's zone, Emilio Alvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Vachon came out of the goal and Emilio Alvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Vachon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Alvarez in the 33rd minute. Lázaro Soter's late challenge caught a canarios AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lázaro Soter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, C.A.Los Gurisee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Soter to maneuver through the defense. Victorino Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Macario having to interfere. Damian Vachon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
