Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emilio Alvarez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Remigio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Roberto Macario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Alvarez in the 7th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Emilio Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Banfield's Juan Rayman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Rayman having to interfere. Mauro Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Remigio Havier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Havier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Macario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Baldomero Cordaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roberto Macario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Macario having to interfere. Juan Rayman was a little too slow when Emilio Alvarez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Emilio Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Cordaro made a kick off. canarios AFC's Roberto Macario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save canarios AFC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, canarios AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Cordaro came free, but Roberto Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Cordaro in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Macario saved canarios AFC from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Remigio Havier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Cordaro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Macario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Dionisio Raitin managed to get in a good position for a shot. canarios AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Raitin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Rayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Macario having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Tadeo Guillelmus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the canarios AFC and the Club Atlético Banfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, canarios AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Cordaro in the 91st minute of play forced canarios AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 102nd minute. Juan Rayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for canarios AFC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Banfield players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for canarios AFC.
