Albano Olivar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Bernal went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Evelio Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Bernal took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Olivar. Albano Olivar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 48 minutes into the match, Albariño's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Bernal came free, but Albano Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Gervaso made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Evelio Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Olivar was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. With a little luck, Albariño's Albano Olivar got control of the ball when Ladislao Laffitte tried to sneak it across the goal line.
