Braulio Quirze was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sergio Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Eleder having to interfere. Anselmo Eleder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Guillem, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Anselmo Eleder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Guillem in the 18th minute of play. Silvio Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Quirze in the 22nd minute of the match. Silvio Innocenzio came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by CABJ 1905's Jacobo Firman. But to his dismay, Jacobo Firman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Sergio Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Rosario Balompié 1889 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Guillem couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio got control of the ball when Arnulfo Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Braulio Quirze notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio. Silvio Innocenzio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braulio Quirze made a kick off. If Jacobo Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Rosario Balompié 1889's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Firman came free, but Silvio Innocenzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Rosario Balompié 1889's Leon Burni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Eleder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jacobo Firman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Innocenzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Roberto Porfirio fired a really elegant long shot, but Anselmo Eleder threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Sergio Guillem was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jeronimo Ostots struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Anselmo Eleder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Balompié 1889. After having played for 72 minutes, Jeronimo Ostots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Balompié 1889's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Ostots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Innocenzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Nicolas Ledesma sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CABJ 1905's Anselmo Eleder didn't even have to move. 81 minutes into the match, CABJ 1905's goalkeeper Anselmo Eleder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Ostots. In the 87th minute, Domingo Austin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Innocenzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After a rather tough play, Rosario Balompié 1889's Jeronimo Ostots got a free kick in the 90th minute. Silvio Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Quirze in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Jeronimo Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Eleder made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jeronimo Ostots sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rosario Balompié 1889 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CABJ 1905.
