The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Pio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Txordon went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when ManoloFC's Melchor Francis in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emanuel Pio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Yahapé AFC through an amazing save. Rolando Raymon hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Melchor Francis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Ostadar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Udalaitz having to interfere. Pedro Dalmu charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Dalmu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ManoloFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Pedro Dalmu hit a great ball. Elpidio Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Ostadar in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Udalaitz saved ManoloFC from getting behind. Emanuel Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Ostadar was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Yahapé AFC booed when ManoloFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Vicente Ostadar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ManoloFC's Elpidio Udalaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Melchor Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emanuel Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When ManoloFC's Melchor Francis in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yahapé AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes Yahapé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Lluciano. 68 minutes into the match, ManoloFC's Emilio Txordon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Pio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Udalaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Milio in the 70th minute. Jose Milio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Elpidio Udalaitz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Melchor Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Pio was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Aureliano Lluciano's late challenge caught a ManoloFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Lluciano helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Pio having to interfere.
