Leon Burni's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aldo Gonza firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvio Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Evelio Bernal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Innocenzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Balompié 1889's zone, Evelio Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Innocenzio came out of the goal and Evelio Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Evelio Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Bernal in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergio Guillem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Gonza. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Evelio Bernal took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Innocenzio. Silvio Innocenzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aldo Gonza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeronimo Ostots in the 38th minute. After 41 played minutes, Moños FC's Erubiel Jerardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvio Innocenzio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moños FC reached it. In the 42ndth minute of the game Evelio Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Evelio Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evelio Bernal to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Bernal in the 52nd minute of play forced Rosario Balompié 1889's goalkeeper Silvio Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Evelio Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Silvio Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Innocenzio having to interfere. If Ciro Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Rosario Balompié 1889 got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Urdin. Aldo Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Guillem in the 71st minute of play. Roberto Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Moños FC's Evelio Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Rosario Balompié 1889's Silvio Innocenzio got control of the ball when Evelio Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvio Innocenzio was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ladislao Laffitte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ladislao Laffitte really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. In the 90th minute, Evelio Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Moños FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Guillem came free, but Aldo Gonza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rosario Balompié 1889 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Moños FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
