CABJ 1905's Jacobo Firman got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Garaona made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Jacobo Firman sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Firman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Garaona having to make a save. If Braulio Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Eleder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Magdaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CABJ 1905's Arnulfo Sancho got a free kick in the 17th minute. Bernabe Castulo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Basilio Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, CABJ 1905's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Magdaleno came free, but Anselmo Eleder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Magdaleno in the 25th minute of play forced CABJ 1905's goalkeeper Anselmo Eleder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anquincila's zone, Jacobo Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Garaona came out of the goal and Jacobo Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CABJ 1905's Anselmo Eleder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Bixintxo in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Anquincila's Abel Garaona got control of the ball when Jacobo Firman tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jacobo Firman fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CABJ 1905's protests and gave Jacobo Firman a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Firman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A collision led to CABJ 1905 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Francisco Sansone hit a great ball. Bernabe Castulo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Domingo Austin's late challenge caught a Anquincila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Austin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CABJ 1905 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Domingo Austin hit a great ball. Anselmo Eleder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Bixintxo in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Magdaleno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Jacobo Firman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abel Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basilio Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Eleder having to interfere. In the 70th minute Basilio Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Eleder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Eleder having to interfere. When Jacobo Firman came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the CABJ 1905 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Firman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jacobo Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot. CABJ 1905's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Firman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Quirze's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Garaona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Braulio Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anquincila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CABJ 1905.
